This review will consider studies that include nurse educators teaching in undergraduate nursing programs. This includes, but is not limited to, nursing professors, nursing faculty, nurse educators and nursing lecturers.
Concept: The concept examined in this scoping review is the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) competency of nursing informatics. Criteria may include, but is not limited to, location of QSEN informatics within the curriculum, teaching strategies for QSEN informatics and how QSEN informatics learning is assessed.
Context: This review will consider studies conducted in the undergraduate nursing curriculum. This includes four-year baccalaureate programs, associate degree programs and registered nurse baccalaureate degree completion programs (RN-BS). This review will include international nursing programs
