Is there any difference in outcomes between off-pump and on-pump coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery in patients with liver cirrhosis?
Population
Adult patients (18 years and over) who undergo coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery with associated established diagnosis of liver cirrhosis.

Comparator Description
Off-pump (no cardiopulmonary bypass) coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery
Outcome
Outcome & Context (comprehensive)
Outcome Description
Primary outcome: mortality
Secondary outcomes: post-operative complications including: bleeding requiring transfusion, re-operation, major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE), worsening liver function, and renal dysfunction requiring renal dialysis.
