What is the prevalence and pattern of domestic violence during catastrophic disease outbreaks including COVID-19 among vulnerable groups?
This review will consider studies reported domestic violence on: children, adolescents, women, intimate partners and elders during catastrophic events including pandemics.
In this review we will consider studies reporting prevalence and pattern of domestic violence during catastrophic events (including pandemics and epidemics) on most vulnerable groups of individuals. We will not consider any age and geographic limit.
The outcome of the review will be the magnitude/prevalence of domestic violence among the study population which will be measured in terms of number and/percentages. If the available data permits, relative risk and odds ratio will be used to signify the association of the outcome of interest with independent variables.
