JBI Advisory Committee
JBI is advised on governance matters by the JBI Advisory Committee that is appointed by, and accountable to, the Executive Dean, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, the University of Adelaide. The primary role of the JBI Advisory Committee is one of advice and support to the Executive Director on governance, budgeting strategy, monitoring and planning matters.

JBISRIR Editorial Advisory Board
The JBI Database of Systematic Reviews and Implementation Reports (JBISRIR) is governed by an international Editorial Advisory Board comprising leading practitioners and researchers within evidence-based healthcare from around the world. The role of the Editorial Advisory Board is to guide the development of JBISRIR and its future direction, including the provision of advice and feedback on editorial policies, processes and content. Members of the Editorial Advisory Board also conduct periodical reivews of manuscripts submitted to JBISRIR and provide expert methodological and/or topical advice to the Editor-in-Chief on editorial issues.

JBI Scientific Committee
The JBI Scientific Committee is an ongoing committee of the Joanna Briggs Institute that is responsible for the development and oversight of the Institute’s methodologies and materials related to evidence synthesis, transfer and implementation.
